Overview
Overview
This project explores how display typography moves beyond communication to become a visual experience that demands attention. The challenge is to design a conference identity and materials that reflect the expressive, bold, and emotional qualities of display type while still maintaining clarity and usability across a full event system.

Design Process
The design process begins with research into contemporary display typography and the work of featured speakers, focusing on how form, scale, and personality influence perception. From there, the concept develops around the idea of visual revelation—type that draws the viewer in through contrast, layering, and moments of discovery. Layouts are treated like compositions rather than static pages, allowing information to unfold in a way that mirrors the experience of engaging with display type itself.

Solution
The final solution is a cohesive conference system that balances function with expression. Bold typographic choices guide hierarchy and navigation, while experimental moments capture attention and create visual interest. Together, these elements communicate not only the event’s information but also its core idea: that display type is meant to be seen, felt, and remembered.
